What are peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that naturally occur in the body and serve as important cell-signaling molecules. They help regulate numerous biological processes involved in healing, recovery, metabolism, immune function, and healthy aging. Peptides can help support the body's natural ability to repair and optimize itself.

What are some popular peptides?

BPC-157:  “Body Protection Compound,”known for wound healing, tendon and ligament repair, gut health, and neuroprotection.

TB-500:  Often used for wound and soft tissue healing, mobility and recovery from musculoskeletal injury.

GHK-CU: A copper peptide studied for tissue regeneration and anti-aging, including healthier hair, skin, nails and joint health.

SS-31:  A mitochondrial peptide researched for restoring mitochondrial function, reducing oxidative stress and improving energy production.

Tirzepatide: Dual agonist that activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, used for blood sugar control, appetite suppression, and weight loss.

KPV: Studied for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, KPV may assist in reducing chronic inflammatory diseases and supporting skin and gut wellness.

About Sarah Springston

Hi, I’m Sarah Springston. I've been passionate about peptides since 2013, when I became the first patient my functional doctor prescribed a peptide to. Since then, I've devoted thousands of hours to studying peptides and learning from leading educators while gaining firsthand experience through my own wellness journey. I’m a Certified Clinical Peptide Therapy Practitioner, part of Peptide University’s Inner Circle, and a member of Project Biohacked and Exploring Peptides professional education communities. I’ve been peptide coaching my family and friends for years, and I would love to help you, too. I adore seeing people reclaim their vitality, become educated about peptide science, and confidently pursue their health goals with a newfound enthusiasm.
